Apple announced that 50 percent of existing iPhone devices already run iOS 13 in them. While there are only 33% of iPads that have switched to iPadOS.
Apple reports that iOS 13 is already running on 50 percent of all iPhone smartphones available today. This announcement was made by Apple less than a month after the latest update was released to the public. With this, Apple wants to show the high rate of adoption of this operating system among its users.
This is actually not surprising. As is known, iOS is an operating system with a high adoption rate when compared to Android. Though the beta version of the operating system was previously reported to have experienced many problems, one of which was when the battle royale player was interrupted by the text editing feature by tapping three fingers at once. Because of the series of problems during the beta that's what makes the iOS 13 adoption rate interesting.
Apple further said that of the 50 percent of devices that have been running iOS 13, more than half, which is 55 percent, were introduced in the span of the last four years. Even so, different things happen to iPad users. According to Apple, only 33 percent of Apple owners found moving to iPadOS.
Meanwhile, Apple is also reportedly currently developing a further version of its operating system, namely iOS 13.2. The update itself is available starting from Apple 6 devices to Apple 11 Pro Max.
As is known, the adoption of the iOS operating system is always superior to Android. For example, Android 9 Pie. Currently the operating system only managed to record an adoption rate of around 10 percent. Even Android 10, which has been announced for more than a month, is still limited to certain devices.
